Our Work

From repairs to full replacements, we take pride in what we leave behind

A repair should hold. An installation should look like somebody thought about it. Below is a look at the range of plumbing work we perform, along with the heating and cooling projects that fill out our week, from diagnosis calls and changeouts to new installs and the finish work homeowners never see but always benefit from.

Plumbing Work

Plumbing work is judged on whether it holds and whether it can be serviced later. Supported pipe, accessible shutoffs, proper connections and clean sealing at fixtures are the difference between a repair that lasts and one you'll be calling about again.

  • Plumber tightening a drain trap under a kitchen sink with a pipe wrench
    Under sink repair
  • Plumber connecting water lines to a new residential tank water heater
    Water heater install
  • Close up of copper pipe being soldered inside a wall cavity during a bathroom repair

  • Newly installed chrome faucet on a white bathroom vanity with plumber's tools beside it
    Fixture installation
  • Plumber using a drain auger on a basement floor drain cleanout
    Drain clearing
  • Neatly finished PEX manifold with shutoff valves on a utility room wall
    Supply line work

Leaks & repairs

Water rarely shows up where it's coming from. We trace it before we open anything up, repair with materials appropriate to your piping, and tell you honestly what the rest of the run looks like.

Water heaters & fixtures

Whether it's a failed tank or a faucet you picked out yourself, connections get made properly, everything gets tested under real use, and the old unit and packaging leave with us.

Drains & installation

Clearing a blockage is the easy part; understanding why it happened is the useful part. For new work, we plan the layout so it functions well and stays serviceable later.

HVAC Work

Heating and cooling jobs range from a single failed component to replacing an entire system and the ductwork feeding it. What stays the same is the process: test first, explain what we found, then do the work carefully and check it before we leave.

    Furnace diagnosis
  • Technician cleaning the coil of an outdoor air conditioning condenser with a brush
    AC service & cleaning
  • Two technicians leveling a new indoor air handler during installation

Diagnosis & repair

Most no heat and no cool calls come down to a specific failure, a control, a motor, a capacitor, an airflow restriction. We find it with instruments rather than guesswork, and we show you the reading behind the recommendation.

Installation & replacement

Equipment performance depends on sizing, airflow, drainage and connection quality. We walk the house before we quote, protect finishes while we work, and test the finished system with you.

Maintenance & comfort

Coils, filters, drains and controls get checked because that's where problems begin. If we spot something worth watching, you'll hear about it, with no pressure to act immediately.

Every job gets the same approach, whatever its size

This gallery represents the types of work BnH performs across both trades. Some jobs are an hour; some take a couple of days. Either way, you get a clear explanation before we start, careful work while we're there, and a walkthrough of what we did before we leave.
